After Hours
If
you need to provide an emergency report that a network computing service
appears to be 'out of service' (e.g. network outage or server down) during
after hours, please call:

The OIT Operations Room is staffed 24 hours a day,
EXCEPT:
on SATURDAY afternoons from 4:00 PM
to SUNDAY afternoons at 1:00 PM,
SUNDAY evenings from 9:00 PM to 12 midnight,
and
HOLIDAYS.
Periodically, the staff go on short breaks or perform tasks out of the
machine room. If voice mail answers, please leave a detailed voice message,
and your message will be retrieved as soon as the staff return.
During the un-staffed hours mentioned above, voice mail will refer
you to Public Safety (University Police) at x5555. They will initiate a
beeper page to the appropriate OIT staff member.
For non-emergency situations, please e-mail us. A Help Desk consultant will
reply to you the following business day.
